David was born in Bah Town, Liberia, West Africa

Uncertainty

David fled the country during Liberia Civil War and took sanctuary in Ghana on the refugee camp, where he lived for 7 years before migrating to the United States of America.

1998

The American Dream

When David was 20 he arrived in America to join his family in search of peace and democracy.

2004

Home Sweet Home

David marries his sweetheart and starts a family in the Stonehurst Hills neighborhood of Upper Darby.

2011

Love of Politics

David falls in love with politics in 2011 and volunteers to door knock. 

2013

Bridge the Connection

Christ Lutheran Community Church -Chairman of Global Mission Committee served as a welcoming committee to immigrants coming to the church.

2022

Community Activist

Co-Founded Stonehurst Hills Community Association. Formed Rural Liberia Community Empowerment Program and partnered with the Upper Darby Police Department to enhance programming for the youth.

Running for the 6th district for me is not about position, money, or using as steppingstone. I am running because of my passion to serve the 6th District community.
